Incompetent, dishonest and manipulative
I had the unfortunate experience of appointing Bekdon Richards as my property manager. BL and EL are the most appalling realestate agents I have ever come across. They purposefully chose to hide the damage caused by tenants and misrepresent the situation which they allowed to occur.
When the tenants left, I was told everything was in good order. Despite asking for the final inspection report repeatedly, it took four weeks for BL to provide this. BL was unresponsive and dismissive. The inspection report identified a range of damage which they deliberately choose not to advise me of or address with the vacating tenants. This was despite all previous inspections stating ‘excellent condition’ - I now believe that no real inspections occurred and they simply neglect their responsibilities.
I provided a written complaint to the two directors PR and EL and was met with misleading and false statements. They sent their ‘repair man’ who damaged my property and painted patches on the walls in the wrong colour - demonstrating the incompetence and disrespect they have for their customers.
Several weeks later they have now created a situation where some reimbursement has been agreed to by tenants, based on quotes which EL sourced but which he will now not action. Getting quotes myself, the repairs are significantly more and I am out of pocket. 2 months down the track and have lost time and income as a result of their incompetence, intentional dishonest and misleading behaviour.
Bekdon Richards purposefully misled me. It is clear that they intent to operate in this nature and do as little as possible, hoping landlords and tenants are naive alike.
