I agree that around late 2013 there was a lot of staff movement, staff seemed unhappy, distracted and not engaged, and not supported by the overall centres management. My child was affected negatively by a teacher who was not very caring or understanding. I spoke to the LC centre manager about my concerns and they were very proactive with this feedback. I wish I'd spoken up before. I almost changed centres but I am glad I didn't, as staff turnover has slowed (in line with normal staff turnover for any childcare centre) and they have an excellent group of staff who work well together, are positive, caring and also work actively to follow a positive and effective set of learning principals. They provide a lot of feedback regarding your child and actively encourage parents involvement and comments. My child is now a lot happier, loves his teachers and looks forward to attending. I'm very glad I persevered. Each room/age range now has an excellent room leader with support staff. The outside playground is brilliant for the kids, encouraging lots of challenges, social games and exercise. They are currently trying to establish a vegetable and herb patch with the kids help (it's been a bit neglected). I'll be sending my younger one there soon.
My only criticism - they could be a bit more organised on the admin side of things. For example communication regarding timing of special events involving parents/grandparents can be vague or incorrect. Improving their website and any centre specific online/email communication would help.

Was very unhappy with this childcare centre. There was a lot of staff movement and the staff did not appear engaged with the children and appeared bored. I also witnessed staff arguing amongst themselves. I moved my daughter as soon as possible.
I'm , rate this school
