My rating is probably rather biased. I did Grade 8 at Oakleigh in 1962, the year of the last Scholarship examination. I got the highest mark ever at the school in the exam (92.7% including 150/150 for Maths). I then went to CEGS East Brisbane ("Churchie") where I was Dux in 1966. I subsequently got First Class Honours and a University Medal in Science at UQ, followed by a PhD. I spent my career doing research at the Institute of Advanced Study, ANU, Canberra, where I still reside in retirement with my wife (also a University Medallist and PhD from UQ, but in English Literature). I will always have very fond memories of Oakleigh and particularly my year 7 teacher Mrs Leahy/Leigh (not sure of spelling) and my Year 8 teacher Mr Donald.
